Stayed here in Nov/Dec 07, the rooms are European meaning small for USA tastes, but clean, comfy and the worth the rates. It's a nice hotel would stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice, the service is great, the prices are great, and the location can't be beat. It is difficult to go out sightseeing when the weather is nice, because it is so easy just to sit in front of the hotel and watch the city from there. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Jack Friedman

This is a great shop in a wonderful location. Highly recommended for a look and for buying very unique gifts.
  • Red Light District 'De Wallen', Jack (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Best place in the world. Sets an example to the rest of the world on how to stop sex crimes. If you can get laid down the street for $50 in a clean, friendly, safe environment.. there would be much less rape and molestation cases.

    Worth the price of admission.
  • The "African Quarter", monkeysalad (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
I have seen a variety of quality there (from mediocre to stunning), including this one caucasion dutch cutie who was great in the sack. It is not the best section of the Wallen, but not as bad as the previous comments suggest.
  • La Vie En Rose, monkeysalad (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
Very cramped space, and the walls are very thin,... Not the best place in the Wallen to "clear your pipes".

Nice small pub, has many good Belgian beers, both on tap and bottled.
  • Crowne Plaza City Center, ChicagoKev wrote 17 years ago:
I stayed at this hotel in 2006, and had no complaints. The Crowne Plaza City Center is a good hotel, within easy walking distance of Centraal Station and near a number of tram stops. The hotel has a pool and sauna open to guests 24 hours a day. The hotel includes a Dutch restaurant on premises, "Dorrius", and 24 hour room service.
