Hi KLM We had been on vacation in Tanzania and from Zanzibar we were left behind by the domestic airline. Precision Air. This airline is the most arrogant and corrupted company I ever been run into. The lied to us that we would be in time for the next flight to Dar es Salam and our Connectionflight with KLM to Amsterdam. A lie of course among many others. The problem with Precision Air was that they refused to help us out and correcting their own misstakes. It was because of them that we missed our flight back to Europe. I had to force them to cancel our flight ticket so it would not be a NO SHOW ticket. They kept saying that they would arrange everything and issue new tickets for us but they never did. Their behaviour was unprofessional, but even worse is their ignorant staff. If it hadn´t been for the KLM office in Dar es Salam Airport that interwined in the process and produced a solution for the ignorant staff of Precision Air we would have missed another flight and furthermore pay for new tickets all over again. We are very grateful for all the professional help and service-attitude from KLM airport office in Dar es Salam and especially KLM-officer mr Patrick Mahimbo. It felt comforting talking to someone who new what he was talking about. Thanks to mr Patrick Mahimbo we flew out, only with a 24h delay. It could have been worse//

ALEXANDROS OIKONOMOU - GREECE-COMPLAINT AGAINST KLM FOR MALTREATMENT Βy this text ,I want to communicate my strong complaint and dissatisfaction for the unacceptable behavior of your flight personnel (flight 701, Amsterdam-Santiago, 7 August 2015, 21:05 pm) against me and my wife. Namely, after getting on board and while trying to accommodate our hand luggage in the compartment above our seats (already unduly occupied by other passengers’ luggage), a male cabin attendant started shouting at me that I had no right to touch other people’s luggage! When I protested that I deserve respect and support to luggage accommodation by the crew who “have to do their job”, I received the angry response “Don’t yell at me!... It is not my job to accommodate your luggage!...” together with suggestions to put our luggage under the seats (!!) as well as threats that he would not be willing to travel in the same plane with me... Intervening subsequently, the female Crew Supervisor accused me of delaying the flight take-off and tried to extract my declaration that I would cause no more problems to the flight! My response that there would be no problem whatsoever, on condition that I would receive no more bad behavior from the crew, was considered unsatisfactory, and I faced an unbelievable blackmail pressure to answer by just “Yes or No”, otherwise I would have to leave the plane. Finally one of the pilots came out of the cockpit and announced that I would have to leave the plane, refusing to discuss the matter at all and using offensive, intimidating and authoritarian expressions like “Time is over! Decision has now been taken!”, threatening that if I wouldn’t leave the plane, they would call the Security Personnel. This behavior extended to my wife who tried to explain that we were travelling with a group and that there would be no problems, since our luggage was already arranged and we were sitting quietly in our seats. The Supervisor grabbed my wife by the arm and, picking up arbitrarily what she thought to be her luggage, drew her from her seat and pushed her to the exit, and I was obliged to follow. As a result, we were forced to leave the plane, without being given the time to at least contact our group leader to inform him that we were thus expelled. The ground personnel put us on another flight departing the following morning and arriving to Santiago the same night via Sao Paolo, and assured that our luggage would be also sent by the same flight. Hence, we were obliged to spend all night at Schiphol airport, lying on the uncomfortable seats, with all the dining facilities closed and with mice (!!) crawling among our feet (due to reconstruction works, as we were told…). Our misfortune did not end there. When we finally landed at Santiago, after 16.5 hours of flight and a total of 37 hours on the road, we found out that our luggage had not arrived, because KLM by mistake had shipped them by an Air France flight, which was scheduled to arrive there the following day. We therefore had to spend another day with no luggage, personal items, clothes etc, having already lost one full day of planned sightseeing activities, and worrying all day about our luggage arrival, accomplished only late in the evening. Τo our ennoying surprise, we found tht valuable articles ( such as jewelry and other personal articles of family value to us) were missing from my wife suitcase, which was certainly opened /violated and closed back again. This is the awful image of an airline Society which claims service quality and other myths. Reliable witnesses of the above are ready to verify the incidents that took place within the plane. Given all these facts, and particularly the unacceptable, excessively rude and discriminating behavior of the flight personnel, which greatly destroyed our psychological balance and hampered us from enjoying a highly expensive travel, I hereby request you: • To inform me of the names of the crew members of flight 701/7 Aug. 2015, and specially of the clean shaven, bold, tall and well built cabin attendant who intimidated us and was the prime cause from our expel from the plane. • To send me the part of the KLM “Flying Regulations” which allow the crew to behave in such a disproportioned and intimidating manner to KLM customers, over passing their rights for plane discipline and control. • To express KLM’s apologies in writing. • To financially compensate me as per the definition of relevant laws for the serious offense and the moral abuse against my personality in public, the one-day loss of my scheduled travel and the delay in luggage delivery. Failure of KLM to comply with each one and all of the above minimum requirements for my full satisfaction, will lead me to take legal actions against KLM before Greek, Dutch and International courts, as well as diffusion of this very negative company image via all available Social Internet and other Media with parallel communication to existing Consumer and Air Passenger Right Bodies in the EU. Note:Having issued the above petition to KLM site field for complaints, we just received an automatic unpersonal computer answer with a register number of our complaint and the promise from prompt answer - which never came to us... When we complainted again for this delay, we received again a computerized answer with the register number followed by silence. Whos is making fun of whom?It appears that some stupid executives in the Customer Communication Dept there have found this way to get rid of complaints ... ( PS.As I see here, from other passengers comments, we were not the only victims of KLM horrible service deterioration ...) Alexandros Oikonomou

I recently returned on KLM flight #9390 from Amsterdam to Dallas, Texas. The actual date was 9/30/2015. Though I have always been happy flying KLM, this flight, however, was exceptional. The food in couch is never considered gourmet,- as with most airlines - but the service and kindness of the crew is noteworthy. We encountered strong frontal winds over Canada. It felt like a freight train coming at us, horrifying the young person in row 32. One of the captains came to calm her, reassuring her there was nothing to worry about. One person in particular on that flight was exceptional. She went beyond her duties in my opinion, by constantly checking on passengers, running up and down the aisle to make sure every one was comfortable. Her name is NANCY SILVA. All crew members were helpful and accommodating, but Nancy Silva was the most caring person I have encountered in my years of flying. I asked for her name so I could send a comment. I generally take Delta to Europe, and return via KLM. It has worked very well for me. The only problem I have encountered so far is Passport control at the airport. There is always a long line, even with plenty of time to connect, I have found myself rushing to get the connecting flight. I don't know if this can be remedied. I will continue to fly KLM whenever possible. Frances Workman
